What the China Association really
press for is a 10% cut in H.K. sterling
salaries. I think they
are
right in
their contention that these salaries

on the high side, but the financial position in H.K. does not warrant a ralary cut. The 1932 budget has been balansed
the baris 18=1/-; there will be big moflesis it remains in
level of 14=1/6.
